The HWdb Update Service provides an easy way to keep your HAMweather 2.x and 3.x installations providing the most accurate forecast information from the National Weather Service (NWS).

When you subscribe to the HWdb update service you will be provided with access to the latest Altplace and US zip code databases for HAMweather 2.x and HAMweather 3.x.  Additionaly, access will be granted to the latest ICAO, US counties and other potential future databases used by HAMweather 3.

• Email Notification of Database Updates
  When any of the databases available through the HWdb Update Service are updates, you will receive an email notification to inform of the update..
• Latest US Zip Code Database
  For use with HW2 and HW3.  The post office tends to provide quarterly updates to their zip code databases. HAMweather will then provide updates to the custom zip code databases used by HW as needed.
• Latest Altplace Databases 
  For use with HW2 and HW3. The NWS tends to make minor updates to the US weather zones randomly.  HAMweather will provide updates to the custom altplace databases used by HW2 and HW3 as needed.
• Data for Current Conditions
  Allow HW2 and HW3 to provide  current conditions from the closest ICAO for most all US cities/locations.
• Access to AltCity databases
  Access will be granted to the latest AltCity databases for use in HW3 to allow users to simply type in a city/location name only.
• Access to additional HW3 databases
  Access will be granted to the latest US county, ICAO and other future potential databases used by HW3.
