Do I have to sign up for an Aeris API plan in order to use the mobile SDKs?
Yes, the costs for licensing the mobile SDKs are in addition to your recurring Aeris API subscription. Some API plans already contain minimal licensing for using the mobile SDKs for a single or team of developers. Enterprise licensing for the mobile SDKs will require additional costs for all API subscription levels. Refer to the Aeris API Pricing matrix to find out which plans offer mobile SDK licensing.
What do I get with my Aeris Mobile license?
With an active Aeris Mobile subscription, you will have access to all updates to our mobile toolkits for iOS and Android as they are released. These updates would include bug fixes, enhancements and new features. For our Aeris Mobile Enterprise licenses, you also receive enhanced support for your custom development and implementation.
Do I need to renew by Aeris Mobile license once it expires to continue using the SDK in my mobile applications?
No, once you purchase your initial developer license for the Aeris Mobile SDK you can continue using the SDK within your custom mobile applications for the duration of their lifetime. If you wish to receive updates and enhancements to the SDK or support once your license has expired, you will need to renew your license.
Do I need a separate Aeris Mobile license for each application I use it with?
No, the Aeris Mobile SDKs have a runtime free license, which means you can use it within as many as as you need. However, developing multiple mobile applications may require additional or alternative Aeris API subscriptions depending on your current subscription level and what the Aeris API license allows.
